We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Finance and Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) within the Upstream Oil & Gas domain. The ideal candidate will design, configure, and deliver end-to-end S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with business goals and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive S/4HANA Finance solutions by analyzing and translating business requirements into technical configurations.
• Demonstrate practical experience with S/4HANA PRA (Production Revenue Accounting).
• Perform system configuration, testing, and integration across Finance and related modules.
• Collaborate with Process Architects and Design Authorities to design IT solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop technical design specifications for complex solutions alongside Business Analysts and Process Experts.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, support defect resolution, and provide assistance during hypercare.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Support Run & Maintain teams in resolving production issues and ensuring system stability.
• Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and well-documented before CAB approvals.
• Recommend and implement functional and process improvements to optimize existing solutions.
• Maintain deep functional knowledge of assigned Finance and PRA modules.
• Comply with all IT governance, standards, and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI, CO, AA) modules.
• Hands-on exposure to Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Good understanding of integration points between Finance and other S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, PM, etc.).
• Proven ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and document deliverables clearly.
• Experience with incident management, testing, and change control processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams.
