Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (Audit & Taxation Focus) at Pirgal Consulting in Bengaluru. The role involves working across domains such as direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, human capital services, company law, auditing, and legal consulting.
Responsibilities
• Independently handle end-to-end statutory audits, tax audits, and GST audits for clients across industries.
• Take full ownership of assignments — from audit planning, execution, documentation, to finalization and reporting.
• Lead and supervise junior team members during audit engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and support other direct and indirect tax compliance activities.
• Coordinate directly with clients to collect data, clarify queries, and ensure the smooth execution of audits.
• Work closely with partners to discuss audit findings, design strategies, and suggest actionable insights.
• Keep up to date with regulatory, statutory, and industry changes that impact taxation and audits.
• Ensure all work complies with firm standards, timelines, and maintains client confidentiality.
Requirements
• Successfully completed 3 years of articleship from a reputed CA firm, with substantial experience in audit and taxation.
• Capable of leading a team and independently managing client assignments.
• Proficient in Winman software, Excel, and relevant audit tools.
• Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, and TDS laws, and hands-on experience in filing returns.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, coordination, and analytical thinking.
• Self-driven, dependable, and committed to long-term professional growth.
• CA Final aspirants are preferred; exam leaves will be accommodated as per company policy.
