Senior Accountant
$35-$40 per hour (W2) Contract Fully Remote
Our client is a leading provider of life insurance, annuities, and financial services dedicated to helping individuals secure their financial future. With a strong presence across the U.S., they offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where employees can make a meaningful impact.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This fully remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong financial analysis skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately record and reconcile accounting transactions in a timely manner.
Investigate and correct discrepancies while meeting strict deadlines.
Analyze financial data for completeness, material changes, and variances.
Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles.
Assist with financial reporting projects and documentation of business processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a higher-level accounting role.
Insurance industry experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with financial systems and data analysis tools.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is between $35-$40 per hour. (W2)
