Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (bookkeeping, reconciliations, entries)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks
• Maintain general ledger and oversee accounts payable/receivable
2. Taxation & Compliance
• Handle GST filings, TDS, and income tax returns
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage audits
• Liaise with CA, auditors, and consultants for regulatory matters
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts
• Analyze cost structures (fabric, manufacturing, logistics) to identify saving opportunities
• Support pricing decisions with accurate margin calculations
4. Inventory & Vendor Reconciliation
• Work with operations and production teams to reconcile inventory and vendor payments
• Track and report on input credit, purchase orders, and vendor ledgers
5. Payroll & Expense Management
• Process salaries, reimbursements, and employee-related payments
• Monitor and report on office expenses, utility bills, and other overheads
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
• Proficient in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / MS Excel
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS) and accounting standards
• Experience in E-commerce, retail, or D2C brands is a big plus
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and deadline-driven
