Senior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves handling end-to-end accounting, import-export documentation, foreign remittance coordination, statutory compliance, and audit facilitation. The ideal candidate will be confident working with custom ERP, have experience in the manufacturing or trading industry, and be capable of independently managing key financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor invoicing and payment runs Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and vendor reconciliations Handle import-export documentation, BOE accounting, and customs duty entries Coordinate with banks for foreign remittance and A2 payment processes Prepare and file GST, TDS, MSME, and other statutory returns Assist with internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance and timely submissions Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to streamline payment and documentation workflows Track monthly budgets, highlight variances, and support MIS reporting Work with custom ERP for daily accounting tasks Liaise with CHA, shipping lines, and international vendors for trade documentation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or accounts/finance related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, trading, or export-import companies Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, BOE, MSME, and other Indian compliance frameworks Experienced in bank coordination for foreign transactions Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Strong communication abilities Preferred: Prior experience in handling audit documentation and coordination Familiarity with logistics paperwork, vendor reconciliations, and customer credit handling Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year Experience: Accounting: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
