Job Title: Senior Accountant/Accountant (Knowledge in banking & finance)

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at la Vie Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven ability to manage complex financial operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide strategic financial insights. You will play a key role in overseeing the accounting function and supporting senior management with accurate financial reporting and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other tax filings.
Handle payroll accounting, expense reimbursements, and vendor payments.
Prepare financial analysis and insights to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for periodic audits and assessments.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Monitor and review accounting software systems and suggest improvements where necessary.
Ensure financial operations are compliant with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and banks when required.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior finance staff, if any.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (M.Com / CA Inter preferred)
8-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Financial Modeling, etc.)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
