Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Head of Department – Accounts to lead our accounting function. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounts department, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations
Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other tax regulations
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures
Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to management
Manage billing cycles, vendor payments, and client invoicing specific to advertising projects
Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/Inter CA preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in advertising, media, or real estate-related industries
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
