The team for you to join
We are looking to recruit an experienced finance resource to join finance team in our Chr. Hansen Mumbai operations.
Who are we looking for?
a strong resource within the India Finance team in driving the accounting & compliance function for the organization.
Senior Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:
Accurately process entries in the accounting system.
Accurate reporting of statutory compliances including GST, TDS and Income tax.
Assists in GST and TDS return filing on a periodic basis.
Maintain updated and accurate day books.
Maintaining up to date accounts including BRS, sales and purchase statements, inventory statements, AR and AP.
Assists in periodic reporting including monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, compliance audits, etc.
Assists in audits (year-end, customs, tax etc.) and assessments.
To collect and review data for reports.
Identifying and addressing accounting/ reporting discrepancies.
Vendor management – due diligence, managing reconciliations.
Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs.
Assisting Head Finance and Assistant Manager in projects, global initiatives or any ad hoc tasks.
Qualification & Experience:
CA Intermediate with 2-5 years’ work experience, or
M.Com/B.Com with 8-12 years’ work experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep knowledge of Tally.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of book-keeping activities.
Quick learner.
High integrity and ethical standards.
Fluent in spoken & written English.
Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic workplace environment.
Excellent time management skills including but not limited to planning, prioritization, delegation and organization.
