Senior Accountant
Work Exp: Minimum 5 Yrs+
We are looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
To be successful as a senior accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
GST:
• Preparation of GST Annual Report - GSTR + and GST Reconciliation Statement & Certification – GSTR +C and its filing
• Preparing and Filing of monthly / quarterly GST Returns – GSTR 3B, GSTR 1
• Maintaining Accounts and Records under GST – Stock Register, Sales – Purchase Registers with respect to HSN/SAC.
• Keeping up-to-date with latest circulars and notifications
• Other GST related compliances – GST Registration, Tax Payments, E-Way Bills
• Coordinating with clients on GST Audit (Reliance Group Companies)
Income Tax:
• Preparation of Personal and Corporate Tax Returns and advising clients for Tax Planning
• Ensuring timely preparation and filing of TDS Returns
• Preparation and filing of Tax Audit Reports – Form 3CD/3CB
• Miscellaneous Compliances – Advance Tax Payments
• Responding to IT Department’s notices for clients
Accounts & Audit:
• Finalization of Books of Accounts and preparation of yearly Financial Statements
• Perform periodic closure processes including provisions, balance sheet and reconciliation
• statements
• Preparing annual budgets, and financial reports, planning and implementing financial strategies,giving
• advice on tax affairs
• Collaborate with clients to ensure that the information flow from the client to the audit team is
• efficient
• Conducting Bank Audit for clients to ensure proper compliances & control system
• Assisted partners in Statutory & Concurrent Bank Audit of Branch
Good knowledge and understanding of:
• Incorporation of Companies, LLPs
• ROC Compliances – DIR 3 KYC, Auditors Appointment, Commencement of Business
Senior Accountant Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
