We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our SaaS company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and taxation. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing support in various accounting functions. This is a key role that contributes to the financial health and growth of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations Management:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, records, and reports.
Oversee the billing and collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
and payment processing.
Monitor cash flow and maintain financial liquidity.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance, variances,and trends.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the financeteam to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.
Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
3. Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors for tax planning and audits.
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
4. Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
Utilize accounting software and SaaS-based financial systems effectively to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficient and effective financial systems and controls.
Automate financial processes and reports to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
Participate in system implementation or upgrades to ensure seamless integration with accounting systems.
5. Compliance and Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and company policies.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud or errors.
Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
6. Others:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and analysis for decision-making and support business initiatives.
Stay updated on accounting standards, industry trends, and best practices to contribute to process improvements and efficiency.
Participate in professional development activities, such as attending training programs or obtaining relevant certifications.
Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant in a SaaS company or similar technology-driven environment.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SaaS-based financial systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Knowledge of SaaS revenue recognition principles and familiarity with
subscription-based business models is advantageous.
Preferable to have experience in international taxation, including knowledge of transfer pricing, double taxation treaties, foreign currency transactions, and cross-border tax compliance.
