Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/Account Head to join our organization. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role. As a Senior Accountant/Account Head, you will oversee various accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize your extensive knowledge and proficiency in Tally ERP Software to manage and maintain our organization's financial records, including recording transactions, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy.

· Handle TDS-related work, including deducting appropriate taxes, preparing TDS challans, filing TDS returns, and issuing TDS certificates.

· Manage IT-related financial matters, such as understanding and implementing tax regulations specific to IT services, software licensing, and other technology-related transactions.

· Coordinate and participate in audits, both internal and external, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing necessary information and explanations to auditors.

· Conduct stock audits to verify and reconcile physical stock levels with book records, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.

· Take charge of all GST-related work, including GST registration, invoicing, filing GST returns, and maintaining compliance with GST laws. Handle GST input tax credit calculations and reconciliations.

· Oversee a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.

· Provide financial analysis and insights to management, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

· Ensure overall financial control and compliance within the organization.

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably as an Account Head or similar position.

· Strong command of Tally ERP Software, with the ability to effectively handle various accounting functions.

· In-depth knowledge of TDS regulations, IT-related taxation, auditing procedures, stock audits, and GST compliance.

· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant tax laws and regulations.

· Strong leadership and team management abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or ACCA will be an advantage.
