Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable
Gurugram, India
Responsibilities
1. Candidate shall be responsible for processing of vendor Invoices and employee claims as per agreed timelines.
2. Ensuring that the payments for due invoices are being made as per agreed payment terms through automated payment runs from NetSuite.
3. Ensuring that all invoices at hand on the cut-off date at month close are duly accounted for.
4. Ensuring that there are no open items in the GRIR/SRIR clearing accounts.
5. Performing vendor reconciliations as per agreed frequency and selection criteria.
6. Carrying ageing analysis of vendor payable and advances and provide explanation for overdue items.
7. Arranging required balance confirmations from vendors for statutory audit.
8. Provide required data for expense provisions.
+. Ensuring adherence to TDS provisions, compliance to GST & MSMED Acts and adherence to internal controls while processing of invoices.
10. Ensure that all agreed SLAs are being met and share required MIS to support the same.
11. Compiling cash forecast requirements for Accounts Payable on a periodic basis.
12. Liaison with external stakeholders and be SPOC for their queries.
Requirements
1. Graduate/Post Graduate in commerce with 4-6 years of experience in Accounts Payable in manufacturing/Software/SaaS industry.
2. Working knowledge of TDS and GST compliances.
3. Sound accounting concepts.
4. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
5. Good verbal and written business English communication skills.
6. Must have previous NetSuite experience.
7. Team handling experience would be preferred
