Senior Accountant (Payroll) Bangalore Exp - 5-8Yrs This role is to manage Indian entities Payroll and Employee Expenses. Coverage of other APAC entities like HK, SG, AUS scopes also to be handled. Roles and responsibilities will be included mainly the below: To independently manage end to end payroll and Emp. expense’s function & related statutory aspects, this includes: • Payroll input/output verification and ensuring payroll disbursement on time. • Full & Final settlements of exit employees. • Processing of Employee expense, Travel management (Advances, Claims) and ensuring the claims are asper policy • Accounting entries (Preparation of Journal entries) Payroll, Exp Exp/Travel, including accrual/advances etc. • Month end payroll process to complete within short time with the quality (Payroll & Exp. Exp/Travel): • Preparing and passing journal entries. • Preparing Ledger/GL breakups and maintaining its clean records. • Preparing various Ledger Recons (GL’s) in Blackline system. • Review and analysis of applicable General Ledgers as part of MIS. • Tight schedules to be managed with respect to timely delivery with quality. • Review and respond to all types of mails/tickets on time. • Treasury/Bank operations related to the tasks you handle. • Timely responding to or co-ordination with various types of audits. • Handling Investment declaration/verification process related to Payroll. • Statutory compliance like: • Direct & indirect tax. Strong at TDS, GST & Payroll related tax compliance. • TDS Validations, payments, returns validation & filling, Form16 disbursements. • ESI/PT/PF/Stat Bonus/Gratuity, leave and related labor compliances. • Ability to handle multiple entities, locations accounting, with understanding compliance around this. • Managing gratuity accounts and related accounting, compliances. • Build & own strong internal controls or cross check points to mitigate any kind of risk factors. • Identify the process gaps and implement based on the needs. • Any other tasks assigned by management.
