JOB OBJECTIVES
Senior Accountant ( German speaking)

Our products are specified into some of the world's most recognizable and established branded product platforms, including Microsoft Xbox, Boeing aircraft, Daimler and Volvo trucks, Samsung mobile phones, Cisco servers, U.S. Navy ships, and Recreational Vehicles. Our geographical footprint is comprised of 35 manufacturing, design and administrative facilities, 17 in North America, 11 in Asia, and 7 in Europe
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle all accounting needs of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and assets accounting
• Ensuring Month-end close for the site and managing meeting timeline for Month-end close reporting to HQ and input in global reporting system in time
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
• Responsibility for claims management and dunning
• Examining and analyzing a company's accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.
• Bank accounting, scheduling, and payment process, keeping a check on the company's cash and liquidity based on financial status, conducting full liquidity planning, and tracking
• Preparation of VAT return
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements, and company's financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Contact person for external auditors and internal departments
• Preparation of ad-hoc information requests
• Support the management and the local management team: preparation of monthly reports and analysis eg. gross margin analysis, inventory turnover, preparation of monthly scorecards
Requirements Basics:
• Minimum work experience of 7+ years in accounting
• Minimum education is a successfully completed Business Management Training and certification as a Certified Bookkeeper or a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
• Secured knowledge of German HGB accounting
• Excellent computer skills and ERP Systems experience
• Language Skills: German
