The Senior Accountant (Costing / FP&A) is responsible as the leading finance business partner in supporting Global Sourcing (“GS”), Project Management Office (“PMO”) and as Costing analyst in ensuring financial stewardship on costing accounting controls and analytics for an overseas plant.
This position reports to the Finance Director and is part of the Global Operation Finance Team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Lead as the key finance business partner to support Global Sourcing (GS) / Project Management Office (PMO) Functions
• Support GS Team on review & analysis on Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and funnels
• Support PMO team on VAVE Project initiatives (Cost, Spend & funnel) vs committed goals & timeline. (VAVE)
• Work closely with GS Indirect Spend team to support and review on the Indirect Spend tracker and funnels
• Manages forecast and budget aspect of PPV / VAVE / Indirect Spend
• Lead as the Costing Analyst for an overseas plant
• Support and analyse manufacturing plant related activities which includes
• Product standard cost set up, support in establishing of annual rates (Labor, Overheads & OSP etc),
• E&O provision review (Quarterly),
• Manufacturing variances & Department spending related analytics & control
• Forecast & Budget-related activities
• Support the Principal Accountant in costing support activities for the main plant in SGP.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley legislation
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance Discipline and/or professional qualifications (e.g ACCA, CPA etc),
• Min 5 years of experience in FP&A business partnering or Manufacturing Costing
• Familiar with manufacturing plant operations and/or PPV/VAVE related analysis
• An independent and communicative team player with an inquisitive mind
• Able to lead initiatives with minimal supervision when required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Manufacturing Costing &/or Sourcing operation related support (i.e PPV, VAVE etc)
• Oracle & Hyperion (HFM)

This position is part of the Global Sales Organization located in the Mid Atlantic territory (DC, VA, MD, DE, WV) and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the North American Sales Team and report to the Regional Sales Manager (East) responsible for driving orders growth and developing and maintaining strong client relationships in the Mid Atlantic territory.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Identify, prospect and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma, academic and government organizations in the assigned territory.
• Establish and nurture business opportunities with new clients in the territory by supporting the client’s ongoing and future programs.
• Coordinate and align with Aldevron’s inside sales and technical support teams to continue refining the sales and business development process to best support Aldevron’s clients.
• Routinely provide accurate and up to date forecasts, delivering visibility to new revenue opportunities, projecting revenue recognition for the quarter and year
• Daily input/track information and manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM system.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Minimum of a B.S. in a scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a client-facing sales role in the life sciences industry, with preferred experience in the biopharma industry selling into the cell and gene therapy client segments, with proven track record of being a top performer.
• Broad technical understanding in the field of molecular and cell biology, with the ability to describe the workflows related to biotherapeutics, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vector technologies, CAR-T, etc.
• At least 1 year of sales experience for Contract Development and/or Contract manufacturing Organizations supporting Cell and Gene Therapies, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of sales experience into the clinical drug development process, including knowledge of call points, sales cycle and KOL for Biotech and Pharma in the Cell and Gene Therapy space, or equivalent experience.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• MSc or PhD
• Supporting early or late-stage clinical programs and/or GMP manufacturing

The salary range for this role is $145,000-$185,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
