We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work both onsite and remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of accounting, with a particular focus on compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger entries. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our financial operations, contributing to our overall business strategy and organizational success.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experince, be open to working in office two days a week, and have a great attitude. Public accounting experince is a plus!

Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to
• Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Assisting in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Overseeing and managing compensation and benefits accounting.
• Reviewing general ledger entries and correcting any discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with SOX and other applicable regulations.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline and improve accounting procedures.
• Providing support for annual audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
• Participating in special projects as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is a strong plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
• Proficiency in compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
