We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining the best of both in-office and remote work environments. You will play an integral role in our Finance team, helping to shape the financial health of our fast-growing startup in the Fintech industry. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is looking to make a significant impact in a growing company.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
• Overseeing and managing all general ledger accounting activities.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Conducting detailed financial accounting procedures, including monthly and annual financial closings, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline and improve financial processes.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting software systems for increased efficiency.
• Providing leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff, if needed.
• Staying updated with industry trends and current accounting standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in general ledger accounting, internal controls, and account reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with SaaS or Fintech is highly desirable but not required.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with various accounting software is essential.
• Leadership experience is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
