The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification is a strong plus
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology industry
Proficiency in compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger entries, and journal entries
Thorough understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
