We are looking for a skilled Account Executive to manage and grow key customer accounts for our luxury jewelry brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of products, and achieving sales targets through excellent service and communication. This role is perfect for someone passionate about jewelry and skilled in both sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain up-to-date books of accounts (Sales, Purchases, Journal, Cash/Bank, Credit/Debit Notes). Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts. Manage daily transactions and ensure timely recording in Tally ERP or relevant accounting software.
2. Jewellery Inventory Management:
Maintain records of gold, diamonds, and other raw materials. Conduct monthly and surprise physical stock verifications and reconcile with system data. Assist in valuation of inventory based on prevailing metal rates, weights, purity, and wastage. Track loose stones and metal scrap (melting returns, damaged items).
3. Billing & Invoicing:
Prepare tax invoices for retail and wholesale sales. Ensure HSN codes and GST classifications are correctly applied. Handle invoicing for custom orders, gold schemes, and exchange purchases.
4. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance:
Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B and input tax credits with vendor invoices. File TDS returns and handle related compliances. Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for periodic filings and statutory audits.
5. Bank & Cash Handling:
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash. Process payments to vendors and employees. Handle transactions involving bullion purchases, loans, and gold metal accounts.
6. Costing & Profitability Analysis:
Calculate cost of production including making charges, labour, overheads, and raw material costs. Monitor profitability on item level (per design or SKU) and by customer segment. Assist in setting product pricing based on margin targets and market rates.
7. Reporting & Analysis:
Generate monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Analyze financial trends, highlight variances, and suggest corrective actions. Track performance of sales schemes, discount offers, and return policies.
8. Audit Support & Internal Controls:
Coordinate with external auditors during year-end and statutory audits. Prepare audit schedules and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Strengthen internal controls for cash, inventory, and sales returns.
Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / ICWA / MBA (Finance).
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in jewellery, retail, or manufacturing industries.
Strong command of Tally ERP, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and reporting tools.
Knowledge of gold rate fluctuations, hallmarking processes, and bullion trade.

Knowledge of SEZ exports, e-way bills, or international shipping documentation.
