Position: Senior Accountant - SSC
Location: India
Vice Media seeks a motivated, experienced accountant to join our team. This position will be part of the Global Accounting Shared Service team and involve a mix of month-end close functions and accounting support.
The Person
Education
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or other business related field required.
Qualifications
3-4 years of professional experience
Public / Private accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting required
Experience communicating accounting issues and determinations to senior level managers
Strong excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Ability to learn quickly and apply accounting guidance to new and varied types of transactions
Job Duties
Creation of internal project codes
Intercompany reconciliations / matching
Intercompany billbacks / recharges
Salary allocations (Global recharges)
Freelancer Payroll upload / tie out
Financial statement preparation
Tax support preparation
Audit support including pulling samples
Ad Hoc projects / LOB reporting as needed by the business
LOB support as needed
Knowledge of Netsuite a plus
