Position: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Andheri East
No. Of Positions: 1
Reports To: Management, CA
Position Purpose:
We need a Senior Accountant to join our finance department and take over the major reporting and reconciliation duties for our company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for heading the finance department and reporting directly to the Management We need a professional with inherent leadership qualities and the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate reporting in all areas. The successful applicant will have a basic knowledge of how dealerships are run and will have prior experience with tax issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Management attention
Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits
Conduct regular ledger maintenance.
Knowledge of import of goods accounting is must with keeping Inventory in tally.
Well versed with Statutory Compliances like Adv Tax,TDS, GST, PT, EPF, ESIC etc
Skills and Specifications: -
Having minimum experience of 5 to 7 years
Knowledge of import of goods accounting is must with keeping Inventory in tally Ability to meet deadlines
Good liaison with all other department members
Able to work in team and willing to put up to team
Pays attention to detail
Able to operate in different work conditions such as on-site, off site
Able to work alone
Can work well in a fast-paced environment
Self-Starter who is proactive and motivated.
Education and Qualifications:
Bcom/ Mcom
Semi qualified not continuing CA further is also welcome
Computer skills - Ms-Excel, Tally Prime, Internet, Word, Outlook
Experienced person who is master in Tally software currently Tally prime
