Job Designation: Sr. Accountant
Qualification: M.Com / MBA – Finance / CA Inter
Experience: 3+ years (preferably in a Digital Marketing Agency / Advertising Agency / Service-based agency setup)
Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant who has hands-on exposure working in a digital marketing or agency environment. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, handling client billing cycles, and supporting management with financial planning and reporting.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with multiple clients, campaign-based billing, and fast-paced agency workflows, while maintaining strong accuracy and compliance.
Knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions and daily bookkeeping
Handle client invoicing, retainer billing, and campaign-based billing cycles
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Compute taxes and prepare returns (GST, TDS, PT, PF, etc.)
Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, MIS reports)
Track company financial health, profitability, and liquidity
Coordinate internal and external audits
Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure data backups
Stay updated with financial regulations and compliance
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Prior experience in a Digital Marketing Agency / Advertising Agency / Media Agency
Strong understanding of service-based billing structures (retainers, project-based, campaign billing)
Experience handling multiple clients and high-volume transactions
Good understanding of GST in service industry
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
