Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage sales billing, accounting of bills, and overall financial operations for our Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ledger management, ERP systems, and end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Billing & Invoicing
Prepare, verify, and process customer invoices for RMC sales.
Ensure timely billing and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with sales teams for collections.
Accounting & Ledger Management
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across all financial transactions.
Record journal entries, adjustments, and accruals in ERP system.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage accounting workflows within ERP software (SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent).
Generate financial reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
Ensure smooth integration of billing, inventory, and production data.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Process Improvement
Streamline billing and accounting processes for efficiency.
Identify gaps in ERP usage and recommend system enhancements.
Train junior accountants and staff on accounting best practices.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹27,580.48 - ₹47,396.60 per month
