Job Description
• Populate monthly ASC 842 lease journal entries for global entities
• Prepare lease reconciliation of lease related balance sheet and lease expense accounts.
• Prepare ASC 842 related disclosures for interim and annual reporting.
• Review new or amended lease agreements in detail and validate all related data within the lease accounting systems. Globally- real and personal properties.
• Update existing records/contracts for renewal, early termination or others globally.
• Update discount rates for both US GAAP and IFRS/local GAAP scenarios.
• Perform ad-hoc assessment on embedded leases or other unique contracts as needed.
• Communicate with business partners frequently and provide insight on accounting treatment and financial impact on global leasing transactions.
• Support for Consolidation activities during reporting period and Year-End
• Adhoc tasks , Simplification & Automation Projects.
