Senior Accountant - Work From Home

This role is to join a mid-tier firm who have their roots in Brisbane. They've had an amazing start to the year by bringing on more clients than anticipated. Due to this success, they are growing their team and keen have a tax compliance gun working remotely to help the office-based team.

About the Role
This role will see you working for a wide range of private clients, where you will be providing a range of tax compliance services.
This role can be performed fully remote, but you will need to be based in SE QLD so you can come to the offie for initial on-boarding and then training as and when required. Plus, you'll be able to attend their awesome company events!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and lodge Tax Returns for a range of companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and FBT Returns as well as other compliance work.
Review and delegate work to junior staff within the team.
Manage clients directly and handle any queries they may have.
Work on clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including household name brands.
About You
CA or CPA Qualified, or close to qualifying.
Business/Commerce degree in Finance or Accounting.
3+ Years experience in Tax Accounting.
Solid Tax technical knowledge and accounting skills.
High level communication skills and able to liaise directly with clients.
Ability to navigate accounting software, including Xero and MYOB.
Must have experience in Australian Accounting firm(s). Overseas applications will not be accepted.
A strong preference for someone to be SE QLD based to attend initial onboarding and training, as well as annual company events.
