Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join our Finance team. You will support day-to-day accounting functions and gain hands-on experience in financial operations at a dynamic startup.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining day-to-day financial records and data entry in accounting software
Support monthly reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts
Help prepare and organize invoices, bills, and payment records
Assist in GST, TDS filings and other statutory compliance
Coordinate with vendors for payment follow-ups and documentation
Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
Support in internal audits and reporting tasks
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Accounts/Finance Manager
Requirements:
Pursuing or recently completed B.Com/M.Com/BBA/MBA or related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) is a plus
Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic
