Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive – Real Estate
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To : Head – Finance & Compliance
Location : Ghatkopar

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage the accounting functions specific to real estate operations. The role requires hands-on experience in project-based accounting, statutory compliance (GST, RERA, TDS), vendor reconciliations, and fund management. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of real estate finance and will play a key role in supporting audits, MIS reporting, and overall financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Financial Accounting
Maintain books of accounts for multiple real estate projects in Tally/ERP.
Handle project-wise cost allocation, revenue recognition, and expense tracking.
Reconcile customer advances, payments, and outstanding receivables.
Assist in maintaining project-wise profitability reports and variance analysis.
Billing & Receivables
Generate demand letters, tax invoices, and receipts for flat buyers.
Monitor receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and coordinate with sales/CRM teams.
Ensure proper application of GST on bookings, cancellations, and collections.
Vendor & Payables Management
Process contractor/vendor bills in coordination with the site and purchase teams.
Ensure timely payments and maintain vendor ledgers.
Handle retention money, security deposits, and advance adjustments.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and professional tax.
Handle reconciliation of GSTR-2B with input tax credit.
Support RERA compliance and related documentation.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly cash flow statements, fund utilization reports, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of project-wise MIS and cost reports for management review.
Liaise with statutory/internal auditors for audits and financial closure.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance (B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance).
5–7 years of experience in accounting, ( Preferred - Exposure of at least 1- 2 years in a real estate or construction company.
Hands-on experience in Tally ERP
Good knowledge of RERA, GST, TDS, and related financial regulations.
Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation formats.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional interactions.
