Job Overview: JET INDIA is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Banking Operations. Proficiency in Tally Prime and Excel is essential. This role requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Book Keeping:
• Generate sales invoices and E-Way bills.
• Enter purchase and expense bills, petty cash in Tally ERP+ (Prime).
• Prepare and review ledger accounts and bank reconciliation statements on a daily basis.
GST, Income Tax & TDS Compliance:
• Monthly GST working, GST summary (knowledge of GST R1, 2A, and 3B) and return filings.
• Handle income tax computations and compliance.
• Manage monthly TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
• Prepare balance sheets up to finalization.
• Prepare and pay monthly PF and ESIC.
Banking Operations:
• Manage banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly stock and debtors statements for the bank.
• Coordinate with banks for routine requirements like bank guarantees, documents for OD renewal, etc.
Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for management, including weekly debtors/creditors statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Tally Prime:
• Utilize Tally Prime for all accounting activities.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Tally.
• Maintain stocks in Tally and correlate with the inventory software.
Excel Proficiency:
• Develop and maintain reports in Excel.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 4-5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and TDS regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
