Position Title: Accounts Executive - Employee Welfare Scheme
Location: Pune

Reports To: Finance Manager/Head of Accounts
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage and oversee the administration of employee welfare schemes, including but not limited to gratuity, superannuation, fixed deposits (FDs), loans, provident fund (PF), and other related benefits. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in accounting and experience with employee benefit programs. The Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of employee welfare schemes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Welfare Scheme Administration:
Administer and maintain records for employee welfare schemes, including gratuity, superannuation, provident fund (PF), employee loans, and fixed deposits (FDs).
Ensure timely and accurate calculation and disbursement of gratuity, PF contributions, and other benefits.
Assist in setting up superannuation plans and ensuring that the correct contributions are made for eligible employees.
Accounting and Reconciliation:
Maintain accounting records for all employee welfare schemes and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Regularly reconcile accounts related to PF, gratuity, and other welfare funds.
Prepare and verify monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and ensure accurate documentation for audit purposes.
Compliance and Statutory Requirements:
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements concerning employee welfare schemes, including compliance with the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS), Gratuity Act, Superannuation, and other welfare schemes as per government laws.
Coordinate with external auditors for the audit of welfare scheme accounts.
Employee Communication and Support:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding welfare schemes, addressing queries and providing guidance on available benefits, procedures, and eligibility.
Provide clear communication to employees about any updates or changes to the welfare schemes, such as contribution changes, loan approvals, and benefits related to retirement plans.
Loan and Advances Management:
Oversee employee loan applications, ensure proper documentation, and track loan disbursements.
Monitor loan repayments, ensuring they are consistent with company policies and deducted from salaries on time.
Reporting and Data Management:
Prepare periodic reports on welfare scheme utilization, including trends in superannuation, PF withdrawals, gratuity calculations, and any outstanding employee loans.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions related to employee welfare schemes and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
Policy Development and Review:
Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to review and recommend improvements or modifications to existing employee welfare policies.
Assist in drafting new policies or updating the welfare schemes in line with changes in law or business needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Professional certifications such as CA (Inter), ICWA (Inter), or MBA (Finance) are desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a specific focus on employee welfare schemes such as gratuity, superannuation, loans, and provident fund.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or other ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of employee welfare scheme regulations and legal requirements (PF Act, Gratuity Act, etc.).
Solid understanding of taxation related to employee benefits and welfare schemes.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees and management.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in maintaining records and preparing reports.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to resolve discrepancies and provide effective solutions related to employee welfare programs.
Additional Desired Skills:
Knowledge of advanced MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Prior experience in handling audits related to employee welfare schemes.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
