Job Description
Support peers with technical or process related challenges during
process execution.
Key responsibilities:
Must have knowledge and understanding of End to End P2P Cycle.
Must have knowledge of Cash Flow Statement and Working Capital Management. Experience on SAP Payment Execution Process [In House Cash knowledge would be added advantage].
Execution and Monitoring of Payment Run Cycles in SAP [Country Cash Pool and Global Cash Pool – Sweeping and Funding].
Experience on initiating Bank Site Payments with process governance.
Close coordination with Technical Teams [BCM TRAX, SAP, MLIT etc.].
Close co-ordination with External Banks, Treasury and Working Capital Managers. Perform the payments process activities with strict timelines and 100% accuracy.
Should have analytical skills and follow Payment Process Compliance & Controls [As Per Bank Specifications and Maersk Group Policies] – Highly Sanctioned Countries [HSC] Guidelines, Bank Restrictions, Coordination with Maersk Legal and Group Treasury Team.
Must follow Group Governance related to Global Bank Devices [Master Account and Global Disbursement Accounts] – Custodian of Global Bank Devices and critical accesses.
Perform Process Reporting and monitor process KPI’s [Payments on Time, Payment Rejection Management, Fund Estimations (E-Treasury)].
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders [Country / Cluster Stakeholders / AR / AP counterparts as well as GL Team]. Should manage Payment Queries and ensure no business impact [No Payment Overdrafts and blockage of capital]. Adhere to Business Contingency Plan [Perform BCP Test].
Coordinate with BPO’s and Project Teams on New Process Set-Up along with System Testing [UAT – Positive/Negative, Performance Testing, Controlled and Penny Testing] along with country and bank guidelines.
Executes according to SLA's.
Has detailed understanding of processes and SOP's.
Adheres to controls.
Has ideas for improvements.
Informs Supervisor about any process issues.
Skillset and Qualification:
Candidate must have commerce graduate with SAP background and 2 years of relevant experience.
Sound knowledge in accounting.
Structured and has a high attention to Quality and Accuracy.
Performance driven and Sensitivity to Organizational needs.
Knowledge of MS Office [Strong MS Excel Skills].
Effective Communication Skills [English – Oral and Written].
