We are a Mid-tier established CA firm looking for a Senior BAS Accountant to provide prompt, personalised service across all our accounting, business advisory and financial services. We pride ourselves on our many long-standing clients across many different industries. We have a strong client base and with your great communication skills you will enjoy liaising and adding value to organisations and people's livelihoods.
Moore Markhams Auckland has a friendly team and energetic working environment and is seeking a focused and technically strong senior BAS accountant.
This senior position will include the following responsibilities and duties:
Providing a broad range of business advisory services to clients including meeting compliance requirements, tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting and investment portfolios.
Building client relationships and aiming to exceed your clients' expectations.
Assist with mentoring of junior staff.
To be successful in this role a background as follows would be an advantage:
Four+ years New Zealand CA experience, including strong reporting skills.
BAS and tax advisory including management reporting.
A genuine interest in business and sound financial reporting skills.
The ability to work in a team and meet goals of both the team and the firm.
Thorough knowledge of Income Tax, GST, FBT and familiar with NZ IRD system.
The ability to manage client relationships autonomously.
Strong communication skills and able to articulate to both clients and the team.
