What’s in it for you?
Our Melbourne practice seeks a talented and driven Tax Senior Consultant to join our esteemed International and Transaction Tax Services team. As a Tax Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax structuring advice to a diverse range of clients, including large multinational listed and private bodies, mainly in the property and infrastructure sector. Your primary focus will be helping clients effectively plan, structure and manage their Australian income tax obligations in relation to new fund structures, co-investment projects, core assets and much more.
You will be at the forefront of addressing international and domestic aspects of income tax and advising on critical income tax matters for special types of trusts, corporates and limited partnerships. Working closely with your team and collaborating with other subservice lines, you will deliver exceptional client service by ensuring the provision of high-quality and timely solutions.
Your key responsibilities
Advising clients on domestic and international tax matters and providing high quality technical tax advice
Preparing tax opinions regarding fund structures and various capital structures
Building and maintaining client relationships by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service
Providing support and guidance to junior team members
Staying up-to-date with tax law changes and industry trends

At least 5 years’ experience in Australian tax consulting within a top tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting or legal environment
Inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning and compliance experience and/or tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience.
Ability to succinctly and clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients.
Experience managing budgets, projects and people.
Ability to develop relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service
