Job Description
Duties:
Lead the preparation and analysis of detailed credit reports, including aging reports, credit risk analysis, and overall financial data to identify key trends.
Use Power BI and other tools to analyse large datasets, visualising trends and providing actionable insights for senior management.
Develop, review, and maintain credit reporting systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
Provide accurate and timely reports to senior management on credit performance, including analysis of delinquent accounts and forecasting credit risk.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of credit risk assessments and recommendations for new and existing clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine credit policies, ensuring effective credit control while fostering positive relationships with customers.
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting projects, and process improvement initiatives as required.
Skills and Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, and collections with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
Proven experience working with Power BI to develop and streamline reporting dashboards and data analysis.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse complex datasets and identify key trends and anomalies.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in reporting and data interpretation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
