Role Description
The Senior Executive - Accounts is responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting in the preparation of budgets and audits. This role requires expertise in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial data efficiently.
Qualifications
Accounting Operations:
Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions in the accounting system.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in creating detailed reports for management review and decision-making.
Support the finance team in preparing MIS reports.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
Prepare and file accurate tax returns within deadlines.
Audits & Budgeting:
Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flows and predict future trends to ensure liquidity.
Reconcile and analyze bank statements regularly.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors, vendors, and stakeholders.
Address queries related to financial matters promptly.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications like CA-Intermediate, CMA, or MBA (Finance) are preferred.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
