Role & Responsibilities
· Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the general ledger system, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
· Journal Entries: Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper classification and accurate representation of financial transactions.
· Month-end Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
· Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.
· Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare various financial reports, statements, and analyses to support management decision-making.
· Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
· Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance financial processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or professional
accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) is a plus.
· 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
· Good Communication (Written & Verbal)
· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with tools like SAP or Oracle
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
