Job Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for coordinating with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations. This includes updating the supplier reconciliation portal, coordinating with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approval, and reviewing the vendor reconciliation performed by other associates.
The role also involves preparing weekly AP reports, processing vendor payments and allocations in the books, and reviewing sales entries on a weekly basis. Additionally, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing sales tax and prompt tax working files, as well as county tax returns.
Other key responsibilities include responding to emails in a timely manner, delivering AP reports to clients on time, and adhering to internal processes and systems. The successful candidate will also be expected to attend internal training sessions and mentor junior associates in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor of Commerce degree
Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
Excellent English communication skills
