$94,563 - $105,910 + 15.4% superannuation
Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role supports the preparation of the annual financial statements and other statutory financial reporting for the Bureau. The role delivers monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, tax management, general financial processing and provision of financial advice for the Bureau.
Key elements of the role include month-end quality assurance and review process, developing accounting policies, monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensuring compliance with relevant government policies and accounting standards.
Development and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships across the Bureau are essential to building trust and confidence in the occupant of this role. The occupant will bring confident communications skills, expertise in Commonwealth government financial frameworks, deep understanding of financial reporting and financial controls.
