Role Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Fund Accounting professional to join our Public Markets Finance Operations team. The individual will be responsible for core fund accounting and operational processes, including NAV validations, coordination with fund administrators, reconciliations, and oversight of investor lifecycle activities. The role demands a hands-on mindset, strong command over fund accounting principles, and experience working within an AIF or PMS environment.
Key Responsibilities :
• Daily/weekly/monthly NAV validation and reconciliation.
• Oversight of fund administrator outputs and interaction with custodians.
• General ledger accounting, journal entries, and audit support.
• Monitoring investor transactions: onboarding, capital calls, redemptions.
• RTA coordination and MIS/reporting support.
• Ensure process integrity across compliance and regulatory workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
1. Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in fund accounting
• Exposure to AIF Category III, PMS, mutual funds, or fund admin firms
• Strong command over accounting, audit, and reconciliation workflows
• Comfortable liaising with RTAs, custodians, and fund admins
2. Commerce Graduate (B.Com / M.Com)
• 15–20 years of deep, relevant experience in fund operations.
• Has run fund accounting books in a hands-on capacity.
• Brings maturity, ownership, and process depth.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
