Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Fund Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in fund accounting processes and have excellent leadership skills. Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure timely production of NAV calculations, accurate report generation, and timely delivery of reports.
• Validate and justify reconciliation breaks in TA, Cash & Stock, and ensure KPI's remain green at all times.
• Develop and maintain Key Operating Procedures for each process migrated to Chennai.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
• Ensuring 100% compliance with ISAE3402 and carrying out sample testing on a daily basis.
• Identifying manual steps, process efficiencies, and developments to improve services and processes.
• Minimizing unplanned leaves during business-critical days, such as month-end and rollover days.
Additional Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for:
• Monitoring the group mailbox and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring timeliness and quality as stated in SLA.
• Ensuring there is no financial impact or loss to the organization.
• Ensuring 100% compliance with ISAE3402 checks for all NAV packs.
• Providing sufficient backup within the team in absence of other team members.
• Assisting the supervisor in resource planning and BAU planning.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce.
• At least 10 years of experience in Fund Accounting.
You will also require:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
