Organisation is leading Manufacturer of Corrugation Box , Printing and Packaging Industry located at Moraiya, Ahmedabad.
Required Education :
Charted Accountant with min 6 to 10 Years Experience as AGM level Profile with Good Hand on Accounting, Taxation, Financial Control, GST compliance, Letter of Credit (LC) operations, and Export documentation with Knowledge of SAP Business One.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Primarily responsible for maintaining all Statutory Books of Accounts as per Accounting Standards, related statutory compliances & company policies.
• Ensuring proper accounting of all Incomes, Expenses, assets & Liabilities as per compliance / provisions. Responsible for overseeing all accounting functions such as ledger accounts, financial statements, audit & compliance.
• Ensure compliance of Direct & Indirect taxes (IT Act, GST, ESI, PF ETC.,) and all other applicable statutes.
• Ensure that all statutory returns required by the Government Laws are made on time.
• Make sure the company meets its compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities.
• Should have worked in an SAP environment. Involvement in implementation of an SAP system is an advantage.
• Handling of all Banking transactions relating to imports & exports, LC issue, releasing of documents etc.
• Preparation of Import material data sheet and co-ordinate with Import supplier and CHA for timely receipt of imported material in factory premise.
• Management of LC issue, LC payment, daily routine import and domestic payments, timely payments of statutory dues etc.
• Preparation of various Reports - MIS; Budgets and other Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Accounts.

Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-driven, collaborative and organized Senior Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic, high-growth beauty company.
The Senior Inventory Accountant will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of inventory accounting, including the analysis of system to 3PL variances, inventory costing under US GAAP and performing related account reconciliations for the e.l.f. Cosmetics brand. As Senior Inventory Accountant, you will also have a hand in executing monthly financial and operational reporting surrounding inventory, be responsible for performing inventory and cost analysis, and maintaining financial reports, records and general ledgers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and/or a publicly traded, corporate accounting environment. SAP S/4 HANA experience required.

Shift timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST / 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (Extendable when support required)
Responsibilities
• Closely monitor the monthly cycle count process and system reconciliations with the Operations team. Research variances between book and physical inventory values and work with Operations to resolve inventory variances
• Prepare period-end entries, account reconciliations, and account analyses with appropriate internal control documentation and support when required for assigned areas of the company's operations, including but not limited to, prepaid inventory, inventory, inventory in transit, inventory received not billed, landed cost accruals, Operation’s accruals, cost of goods sold, purchase price variances and inventory adjustments
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciling items
• Perform detailed variance analysis on assigned accounts to understand reasons for changes and help assure accuracy
• Assist in the monthly and annual financial statement closing process and prepares preliminary results for variances, reasonability, etc
• Support period-end closings by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the inventory close-related responsibilities while working to drive the reduction of the close timeline
• Evaluate and develop accounting and operational policies and procedures for owned areas, with an emphasis on improving accuracy and timeliness, reducing risk and strengthening compliance; especially the reduction of manual, Excel-based activities
• Performs transactional and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to inventory shrink, landed cost, margin, etc
• Responsible for preparation of schedules and analysis that support inventory valuations
• Play a hands-on role in the day-to-day inventory accounting operations and work closely with cross-functional groups to develop and maintain effective and efficient processes, procedures and policies
• Recommend, support and implement process improvements to the company's accounting processes, policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies and procedures with a focus on internal controls; assist in the improvement of internal control activities
• Create ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
• Ability to analyze current and dynamic environment with appropriately responding to business and finance requests with ongoing change in the supply chain environmental changes
• Work with internal clients to understand the activities of the business and the effect on the company's accounting
• Other projects as requested by management
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or business-related field; Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar professional certification
• Minimum of 4 years’ audit or accounting-related experience (i.e. month end close, etc.), with a minimum of 2 years of Inventory experience.
• Inventory accounting experience
• Experience working for a publicly traded company in a corporate accounting role, ideally in beauty or consumer products
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent knowledge and application of US GAAP
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence
• Big Four accounting firm experience is a plus
• SAP S/4HANA experience is required
• Experience in automation is a plus
