The Senior Management Accountant, reporting to the Senior Commercial & Analytics Manager, will deliver high-quality, service-oriented management accounting support for The Star Sydney. This role ensures timely delivery of key deadlines and alignment with The Star Sydney’s policies through effective business partnering.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Finance team.
A few of your responsibilities
Perform management accounting tasks including journal entries, accruals, cost allocations, and month-end support
Build engagement plans with stakeholders covering deliverables, site visits, and communication channels
Partner effectively with the business, focusing on data accuracy, financial insights, and continuous improvement
Deliver accurate monthly reports with P&L variance commentary to support financial understanding
Meet all internal reporting deadlines
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Microsoft Excel skills and experience using TM1
