Role purpose
The Senior Pricing Systems & Insights Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of pricing systems and data that drive decisions across global markets. This position directly influences profitability, competitiveness, and customer trust by maintaining system integrity and enabling data-driven pricing strategies.
Key accountabilities

• Own meaningful system change : Lead enhancements, testing, and deployment for pricing tools so stakeholders get faster, more reliable decisions and maximum uptime.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with the Global Pricing Team and partner directly with the APAC Pricing Manager, as well as stakeholders across MET and EMEA regions, to optimize pricing strategies and ensure seamless integration of systems with business processes.
• Drive profitability with insight : Blend analytics and domain expertise to surface actionable recommendations that affect both near‑term trading and longer‑term pricing strategy.
• Continuously improve operations : Use modern data and automation practices to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and lift service levels.

Key accountabilities
• Ensure System Uptime : Maintain high availability of pricing systems and dynamic pricing processes during APAC hours.
• Resolve Issues Fast : Triage incidents and collaborate closely with IT and Application Support teams to achieve timely resolution.
• Leverage Data for Insight : Use modern databases and BI tools to extract, analyse, and visualize data for actionable pricing insights. Develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for pricing decisions and performance monitoring.
• Automate and Optimize : Apply Python and SQL to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and build dashboards.
• Support Pricing Strategy : Deliver clear, data-driven insights that enhance profitability and competitiveness.
• Maintain Data Integrity : Keep historic pricing data accurate and accessible for reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate Globally : Work closely with IT teams and the APAC Pricing Manager to align system improvements with business goals.
Role specific experience and skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrate advanced Excel experience.
• Hands-on experience with BI software like Power BI, Quick Sight or Superset for data analytics and dashboard development.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate effectively with IT and application support teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working with global stakeholders across APAC, MET, and EMEA regions.
• 3+ years of experience in a pricing or data analyst role.
Desirable Skills:
• Prior experience with AWS services like Lambda, Athena, Glue, and Quick Sight.
• Understanding of financial markets and their impact on customer demand.
• Experience in a customer and sales-focused multinational organization.
