What this opportunity involves:
Working within our dynamic Property Management Team, you'll provide efficient and reliable property accounting expertise to ensure optimal financial administration of the centre. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day financial management, budget oversight, outgoings administration, forecasting, cash flow management and comprehensive financial reporting.
Join JLL as a full-time Senior Property Accountant managing one of Melbourne's significant retail centres. This hybrid role offers 2-3 days in our CBD office and 1-2 days on-site at our retail asset in Melbourne's outer west.
An overview of the role:
Prepare and review month-end reporting including variance commentaries
Analyse centre performance through monthly and quarterly reports
Maintain tight control over operating costs while liaising with Centre Management
Deliver accurate and timely client financial reporting
Assist in annual property budgets and periodic reforecasts
Prepare Owner Remittances as scheduled
Support Centre Management with finance-related queries
Work with external auditors for outgoings audit and adjustments
Manage percentage rent calculations for applicable tenants
Handle incentives/rent abatement accounting
Post rent smoothing and amortisation journals (IFRS) as required

Strong Excel skills for financial tracking and reporting
