The Digital & Process Performance function serves as the transformation engine driving the upgrade of our digital core. By digitalizing our operations, we aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, deliver superior customer experiences, mitigate risks, and ensure business continuity—all while paving the way for next-generation innovations.
The Digital & Process Performance (DPP) function is organized into key teams to drive transformation effectively. Processes & Applications focuses on modernizing core business processes, while Data & Analytics enables data-driven decision-making. IT Operations ensures reliable and secure IT infrastructure, and the Transformation Management Office drives Huhtamaki wide business transformation initiatives with strategic goals.
As a Solution Owner, you’ll play a key role in leading the design, implementation, and operations of modern, shopfloor digitalization platforms (Connected Worker, MES) for our manufacturing operations globally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Huhtamaki employee with shopfloor experience and a solution-oriented mindset to move into a global role, making a significant impact across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
• Empower our factories to innovate & eradicate losses with modern digital, data and analytics capabilities.
• Support our World Class Operations (WCO) by providing reusable standard templates and accelerators for rollout.
• Acting as the primary interface between Safety, Operations and IT.
• Create, maintain, and communicate platform vision and roadmap, based on requirements, and needs from different stakeholders from Operations & WCO.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, creating user stories and acceptance criteria .
• Updating and reviewing documentation .
• Manage product releases, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure smooth deployment .
Experience & Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field .
• Strong Manufacturing / Shopfloor experience required.
• Experience in leading and implementing IT projects and collaborating with operations teams in a manufacturing environment.
• A good understanding of connected worker platforms and MOM/MES applications in manufacturing industry.
• A solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on working attitude.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Azure DevOps (Backlog and Wiki) - beneficial
