POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Special Events team and help with our high-volume event business. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, analytical experience and willing to help where needed. This candidate must have great attention to detail, be proactive and complete tasks in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Manage all event income and reconcile receipts for the Hotel Special Events Team
• Generate event invoices for clients in a timely manner
• Answer phones and provide information to clients regarding our properties
• Assist managers with creation of events signage and menus for all hotel properties

EDUCATION/WORKING REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• 2 years similar role and/or previous corporate experience
• Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of TripleSeat preferred but not required.
