Job Description: Senior Accountant (Experience in CA Firm)
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Santacruz
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Required: 3–5 years (preferably in a Chartered Accountant firm)
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / CA Final (as applicable)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Accountant with a solid background in a CA firm environment. The candidate will lead accounting operations, handle taxation and compliance independently, review junior accountants' work, and coordinate with auditors and clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
Handle complete accounting cycle and finalize accounts up to Balance Sheet
Review and supervise bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and MIS reports
Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
Prepare and review GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns)
File & manage TDS returns, challans, and compliance
Independently prepare and review Income Tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies
Assist in tax planning, assessments, and replying to notices
Audit & Compliance
Lead statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits
Prepare audit working papers and ensure compliance with standards
Liaise with auditors, clients, and government departments
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory regulations
Team Leadership & Coordination
Guide junior accountants and provide training where necessary
Manage client communication, handle queries, and maintain strong relationships
Ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance filings
Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, GST, Income Tax, and TDS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and familiarity with cloud accounting tools
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and client-handling skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Preferred Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a CA firm
Exposure to multiple sectors and clients
Experience in finalization and audit management

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
