Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager Reports to: projects head & MD Location: Vile Parle Job Summary: The Accounts Department Employee is responsible for carrying out a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the accounts department within a construction company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and assisting with account reconciliations and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Process and record all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, bills, and receipts - Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices to ensure accuracy of payments - Maintain detailed and organized accounting records and files, both electronic and physical - Assist with account reconciliations, including bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts - Prepare periodic financial reports and statements as requested - Support the month-end and year-end closing process - Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding accounts-related matters - Provide administrative support to the accounts department as needed - Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and internal controls - Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations Required Qualifications: - Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or a related field - Minimum 6 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures - Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other office productivity tools - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Effective communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Familiarity with construction industry terminology and processes Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: Minimum: 6 years (Required) Location: Vile Parle, Mumbai, Maharashtra (Required) Work Location: In person
