Job Summary
Experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee core accounting functions. The ideal candidate will handle month-end closings, financial reporting, general ledger activities, compliance, and taxation, while providing insights through financial analysis and supporting audits. This role also involves MIS reporting, oversight of stock management, payment follow-ups, statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Professional Tax), finalisation of accounts, mentoring junior team members, and improving accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting, MIS & Month-End Close
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Post journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and present MIS reports for management, including financial summaries, variance analysis, and key performance indicators
2. General Ledger, Compliance & Stock Management
Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger
Handle finalization of accounts, including preparation of financial statements
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and Professional Tax
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and reconcile GST data
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings
Liaise with auditors and support internal and statutory audits
Oversee and reconcile stock/inventory records in coordination with warehouse or operations teams
3. Payment Follow-Up & Receivables Management
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
Perform regular payment follow-ups with clients/customers
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
Maintain strong coordination with sales and finance teams
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR Finance
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally & etc.)
Strong experience in MIS reporting, stock management, and payment follow-up.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
