REQUIRED ACCOUNTANT - ATMUMBAILOCATION

Experienceof at least 2-10 years as an Account (preferably from a SERVICE /CONSTRUCTION/ REAL ESTATEINDUSTRY)Location- Mumbai (MumbaiCentral)
salary- 25k to80k
Weare looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee generalaccounting operations by controlling and verifying our financialtransactions
Responsibilities
• Verify,allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable andreceivable
• Produce error-free accountingreports and present their results
• Analyzefinancial information and summarize financialstatus
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improveefficiency and spending
• Review and recommendmodifications to accounting systems andprocedures
• Manage accounting assistants andbookkeepers
• Participate in financial standardssetting and in forecast process
• Provide inputinto department s goal setting process
• Preparefinancial statements and produce budget according toschedule
• Assist with tax audits and taxreturns
• Direct internal and external audits toensure compliance
• Plan, assign and review staffs work
• Support month-end and year-end closeprocess
• Develop and document business processesand accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internalcontrols
Requirementsandskills
• Provenexperience as an Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, and senioraccountant
• Thorough knowledge of basicaccounting procedures
• In-depth understanding ofGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP)
• Awareness of businesstrends
• Familiarity with financial accountingstatements
• Experience with general ledgerfunctions and the month-end/year-end closeprocess
• Hands-on experience with accountingsoftware packages, like Tally
• Advanced MS Excelskills including Vlookups and pivottables
• Accuracy and attention todetail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitativeskills
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance orrelevant
