Job Description:
They are a small team with insanely large ambitions. They are looking for a Senior Manager Finance, to join their rapidly growing team. You will report to the Head of Finance and Operations and be responsible for managing the company's trading book. The ideal candidate will have a strong grip around accounting principles, controllership, and finance operations. They are looking for, who is capable of building and mentoring a fast-growing passionate, young, and talented team. They are a technology driven firm and process more than 25,000 transactions every day. A large part of this is automated, however, your job will entail the activities listed below.
What will your job entail:
â— Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
â— Coordinating all audit activity.
â— Owning and driving all ERP implementations .
â— Guiding the team for engaging financial operating models and delivery.
â— Consistently analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. Clearly communicating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitoring progress, changes and keeping senior leadership updated of the financial status .
â— Managing the daily accounting activities which includes bank accounts statement reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.
â— Working with internal technology and product teams to develop algorithms and automated systems to help migrate as much of the work as possible to a system driven process with minimal manual intervention.
Key Requirements:
.â— At least 5 years of proven experience in working on Finance Models and Audits, along with ERP implementation. Prior experience of 2-3 years in a startup is a must have
â— Post graduate, CA qualification is a must have.
â— Strong understanding of product & markets.
â— Entrepreneurial mindset, tremendous drive & ownership, hands-on, result-oriented. Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
â— Excellent numeracy skills and communication skills.
â— Ability to work with a high level of accuracy within tight deadlines.
